Managed IT support
IT support in North London for businesses
Managed IT, cyber security and networks for Enfield, Barnet, Haringey, Waltham Forest and Islington, 25 minutes down the A10 from Hoddesdon.
In short
Dig IT Solutions provides managed IT support, cyber security, Microsoft 365, networking, backup and CCTV to businesses across North London, including Enfield, Barnet, Haringey, Waltham Forest and Islington. We started trading on Hertford Road in Enfield, now work from Hoddesdon 25 minutes up the A10, and keep our original 020 number, so North London is home ground rather than an outpost.
Overview
How we cover the area
North London is where Dig IT began. The company traded from 149 Hertford Road, Enfield EN3, until the move to Hoddesdon in 2017, and the 020 8482 4020 number you ring is the same Enfield landline. Our longest-standing client, Mr Plant Hire, is headquartered on Hertford Road and has been with us for more than 15 years across multiple depots. So when we say we cover Enfield, Barnet, Haringey, Waltham Forest and Islington, it is because we have been driving those roads for more than two decades, not because a map tool drew a circle.
The Lea Valley corridor is the industrial heart of the area. Brimsdown, Innova Park, Ponders End and Meridian Water in Enfield, then Tottenham Hale, Blackhorse Lane and the Lea Bridge estates in Haringey and Waltham Forest, carry thousands of warehousing, food, engineering, vehicle, construction and trade businesses of up to 250 people. They need Wi-Fi that works across racking, cabling to scanners and machines, a firewall between office and warehouse, cameras over the yard, and a backup plan for when the server in the corner finally dies. That is bread-and-butter work for us.
West of the A10 and along the Piccadilly and Northern lines the picture changes to professional practices: solicitors, accountants, estate agents, medical and dental clinics and consultancies in Enfield Town, Southgate, Palmers Green, Finchley, Whetstone, Barnet, Muswell Hill, Crouch End, Highbury and Islington. These firms are usually hybrid, run on Microsoft 365, and are increasingly asked by clients and insurers about MFA, EDR, backups and Cyber Essentials. We set those up properly and document them so the answers on the questionnaire are true.
Response is practical. Enfield is about 25 minutes from Hoddesdon down the A10, Barnet and Haringey 35 to 45 minutes via the M25 or A10, Waltham Forest similar via the A10 or M11, and Islington around an hour. Most support is remote through Splashtop and our monitoring agents, so the drive only matters for hardware, cabling and installations, where we attend typically the same day for urgent faults and book planned project days for the rest. We do not claim to be around the corner from Angel, and we do claim to know Brimsdown very well.
Why Dig IT
Why businesses here choose us
- 01
We started in Enfield
Dig IT traded from Hertford Road, EN3, until 2017 and kept its 020 number after moving to Hoddesdon. North London is where our longest relationships are, including Mr Plant Hire's Enfield headquarters and its depots.
- 02
Industrial estates are our natural habitat
Brimsdown, Innova Park, Ponders End and the Lea Valley estates need warehouse Wi-Fi, cabling, yard cameras and resilient connectivity. We design and install all of it ourselves with UniFi, Cisco Meraki and UniFi Protect.
- 03
25 minutes up the A10
Hoddesdon to Enfield Town is a straight run down the A10, with Brimsdown and Ponders End quicker still via Mollison Avenue. For the rest of North London we plan project days and attend urgent failures typically the same day.

Fixed per-device pricing
Indicative monthly figures per computer, phone, printer, firewall and server are published on our pricing page and estimated by our calculator, and they are the same in Edmonton as in Hertford.
