Cost calculator

How much would managed IT support cost your business?

The quickest way to an accurate figure is a short call with an engineer. If you would rather get a rough idea first, the calculator below gives an indicative monthly range.

Every business is different. A ten-minute conversation, or a site visit, gets you an accurate quotation rather than an estimate.

How the estimate works

What moves the number

The biggest driver is the number of computers and servers we look after, because each one is monitored, patched, protected and supported. Servers cost more because they carry the business.

Security tier reflects the controls beyond the essential baseline: Microsoft 365 hardening, staff awareness training and security reporting at the enhanced level, and Cyber Essentials readiness, policies and evidence for insurers at the advanced level.

Additional sites add connectivity management and on-site logistics. Add-ons such as Microsoft 365 backup, server disaster recovery, VoIP and quarterly strategy reviews are priced separately so you can see exactly what each costs.

FAQ

Questions we are asked

Straight answers. If yours is not here, call 020 8482 4020 or 01992 939 365 and ask an engineer.
How accurate is the calculator?
It uses our indicative per-device and per-user rates plus modelling assumptions for security level, support model, sites and add-ons, and shows a range either side of the modelled figure. It is designed to be within the ballpark of a real quote so you can budget and compare. A fixed price follows a short discovery call where we check the assumptions.
Why per device rather than per user?
Both models exist. Per-device pricing reflects what actually costs time to manage: each computer, server and network device is monitored, patched and protected. Users without a dedicated device are costed at a lower rate for accounts and helpdesk access. The result is usually close to a per-user figure, which the calculator also shows.
What is not included in the estimate?
Projects such as migrations, cabling, Wi-Fi installations, office moves and hardware purchases are quoted separately as fixed-price work. Microsoft licensing, broadband and phone call bundles are also outside the support fee, although we manage them for you.
Do I have to give my details to see the number?
No. The estimate and its breakdown are shown on screen without any form. If you want the estimate emailed with the assumptions, or a fixed quote, you can leave your details at the end.
How often are the rates reviewed?
The base rates shown are indicative figures last reviewed 2026-10. They are updated when our pricing changes and the version is shown on the estimate, so you know what you are comparing against.
